Good Fortunes gourmet gifts are made to order to ensure freshness and carefully packaged so they arrive in perfect condition. To further ensure your gourmet gift is as fresh as possible, we use UPS for all of our deliveries. Our standard shipping is 2nd Day Air (2 business days) & Next Day Air (1 business day). UPS transit times do not include the day shipped. For example: 2nd Day Air shipped on Monday will arrive on Wednesday.
order placed before 2 p.m. EST (11 a.m. PST), can be shipped the same
day if desired (it will not arrive on that same day, though). If
you do not put down a Future Delivery Date, we will ship your package
out the same day if ordered before the cut-off time or it will ship the
next business day.
REMEMBER: Good Fortunes DOES NOT ship on Saturday or Sunday. (We like to spend with our families!!)
If something happens to your package in transit, please call us immediately at 1-800-644-9474. You can make a claim of damage within 24-48 hours of receipt of package. UPS will most likely want to inspect the package so please keep the box intact so that they may examine the contents. Likewise if there are items missing from your order, you must contact us immediately - within 24-48 hours after receipt of package. We keep very tight inventory control and can easily trace if items were missing from your package.
You must choose Friday overnight shipping for Saturday delivery at an additional $15 charge in addition to the overnight fees. Please make sure you choose YES in the shipping options for Saturday Overnight. You will need to contact us to update the shipping total.

Alaska and Hawaii locations, an additional $15 charge will apply.
We cannot ship to a P.O. Box nor to APO/FPO addresses.
We suggest shipping to a location where you know somebody will be available to receive the package, for example, the recipient’s workplace. AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DRIVER, UPS may leave gifts at a destination in which no one is home. But keep in mind, our gifts are perishable and shouldn’t be exposed to the elements for too long, especially warm or freezing weather conditions.
Though UPS is an extremely reliable shipping agent, there are times when even they are unable to provide on-time delivery, such as during extreme weather situations, national emergencies, etc. We ask for your patience during these times and promise to get your gift to its destination as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: UPS assesses an $11.00 fee for each incorrect or incomplete address. We reserve the right to bill you for this correction fee, so please make sure the information you provide to us is correct and accurate.
Good Fortunes has spent the last 17 years perfecting our packaging process to ensure the freshest cookies and the absolute safety of your package. Warm Weather Shipping
During the summer months, we ship our products in specially designed cartons and ice packs. But chocolate does melt and therefore, we require that you ship all chocolate products from May through October - 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air!
If you pick a chocolate product for 2nd Day Air shipping during these warm months, we reserve the right to either change your cookie to a like caramel/toffee decorated cookie or add to your shipping charges for the difference between 2nd day & overnight delivery.

Good Fortunes cannot be responsible for damages if you or the recipient of a gift are not present at the time of delivery and the damage occurs as a result of the delay in claiming the package. Additionally Good Fortunes cannot be responsible for heat damage if you choose an inappropriate shipping method of a chocolate product and it ships via the method you selected.
